So I am knitting like a maniac; pulling a garment about every one to two weeks and loving the whole designing bit. Just finished Megathy which is really an emulation of the lacy trendy tops that are so popular right now. It took me less than 10 days to finish this one and I love it! Life is just weird lately. It is like I am trying to cram a ton of things into each day because I know I am not getting younger and it really bites. I will be re-joining Weight Watchers tomorrow night because it seems to be the only thing that really works for me. Last time I lost about 24 pounds and I was doing really well. Now I have a closet full of beautiful outfits that won't fit. Not to mention that knitting cutesy garments is out of the question. I really want to make a sweater that fits snuggly . I want to get rid of my tummy which really is the only thing that truly bothers me. Not to mention my wide back. If I can actually accomplish this, my knits would be very different probably, although I am designing everything with a waist shape. I think sexy is sexy no matter what size you are and designing really has made me aware that no matter what shape you are, you can still look sexy. Hopefully this message comes accross on all my designs.
